In 2018, the band is proud to say the line-up is solid, the band is gelling, getting along great, the songwriting is evolving, and the performances keep improving! The Elixirs announced that they have written and recorded a new record. “Sin Alley” is the name, and DIY is the game. The Elixirs used some saved gig money & purchased some home studio equipment. Dan, Nate & Whitt have tracked, edited & pre-mixed 13 original Elixir tunes. The band recruited Indianapolis's own Ryan Gibbons to help finish mix the new recording. Ryan, well known in Indy for recording, producing and mixing, brought a fresh set of ears, a positive attitude, and experience to help the fellas get the record off to mastering. The Elixirs decided to send the finished mixes to Paul Mahern at Mahern Studios. Paul is well known nationally as the front man for the Zero Boys, and is a well-respected engineer in the recording and mastering business for many years. Get ready in April of 2018, the new record "Sin Alley" will be dropping & you just gotta get your ear holes around this one! Thirteen killer new songs, raw, real, and honest, the band is really excited to share this record with you!
