Although born in Indiana, Ray Scott happened to wind up in Memphis during the rock 'n' roll boom of the 50's. His three big records among rockabilly collectors are Boppin' Wigwam Willie (Erwin), You Drive Me Crazy (Satellite) and Boy Meets Girl (Stomper Time), all great rockin' tunes and included here, although he's also fondly remembered as the writer of classics like Flying Saucers Rock & Roll and You're The One That Done It . There's some good stuff like B-sides and alternate takes from the 50's, but the CD is padded out with a dozen tunes recorded in the 70's with Ray sounding a bit flat and uninspired. So Long, I'm Gone/ San Antone/ Haunted House , etc. Collector Records CLCD 4412 80 MB 192 kbp/s Mp3 Ray Scott - "You Drive Me Crazy" Tracks: 01 Boppin´ Wig Wam Willie 02 I´ll Never Be A Dreamer 03 Goodbye Little Girl 04 Boll Weevil Junction 05 You´re The One That Done It 06 The Train´s Done Gone 07 Just Behind Your Smile 08 You Drive Me Crazy 09 So Long, I´m Gone 10 High Heel Sneakers 11 One Of These Days 12 Memphis 13 Folsom Prison Blues 14 Haunted House 15 Boy Meets Girl 16 Tonight Will Be The Last Time 17 I Just Don´t Figure 18 Whispering Winds 19 San Antone 20 Loving Wanting You 21 Say Anything But Not Goodbye 22 High Heel Sneakers [Alt Take] 23 Josephine 24 Gone Gone Gone http://rapidshare.com/files/45763984/Ray-YDMCt.rar |
